Alex Sanders was the eponymous founder of the Alexandrian Tradition along with his wife,Maxine Sanders. Known as the "King of the Witches",a ritual title bestowed to him by covens at the time, Alex lived a life of mythical proportions. He became one of the most charismatic and controversial figures of modern Wicca, but was also known for his notable magical ability. Alex Sanders was many things to many people; a teacher, friend, father, husband. In short, a man like any other man. And yet, his life was lived without compromise. His personal vision of Magic and Witchcraft and his immense love for the Goddess would influence thousands of practitioners and later initiates who would later inspire a new generation of deep mysteries.
